Focus shift stack processeed in Helicon Focus with additional processing in LrC, PS and NEXT, 20.5mp 4x5 crop.
The fly was cooperative and did not even twitch during the capture series.

I love that Fiesta Hibiscus. They are too tender to grow as a perennial here in Cleveland, but the local garden center always has them potted. They bloom all summer well into late fall, but can't withstand a freeze.

This shot is from Saudi Arabia where cold weather was pretty much nonexistent.
