Quite a testament for the 200-500. I certainly hope that mine is as sharp as yours. I've read that there can be quite a variance in production. Beautiful image BTW.

Thank you Wapiti. Yes, I have had 3 different units and two turned out well, I finally just retained the one I now have. There can be issues between copies.

One of my favourite birds, beautifully caught including position in frame. We had one near us in South Scotland....very rare and sadly died on its wandering...!
