I really like the patterns created when small trailside puddles freeze over. Most of these puddles were not much larger than a dinner plate.

Thank you. Focus wasn't great but it was what I had with me. I had left my macro lens at home and made due with my backup camera. These were hand held and I didn't spend a lot of time shooting them. After I saw them on my computer screen I wish I would have spent some more time with depth of field, composition and maybe even focus stacking. They turned out much more interesting than I was anticipating. I am always intrigued by the patterns in these little frozen over puddles and often take shots of them more for my own enjoyment than anything I would share.
