INDMEM Capture Pro CFexpress Type B... not exactly working?

After using first time in a Nikon Z9, the card would not show up on any of my different Mac computers, nor would it show up as a potential source to download images through Adobe Lightroom?

Eventually tumbled to plugging the Nikon Z9 into the computer, and only then Lightroom would recognize the camera as a source for transfer. Images transferred into Lightroom on problem. Immediate probelm solved.

Any suggestions on how to get this new card to act like the Sony's when using a standard card reader, i.e. showing up on the Mac as a storage device? and showing up in Lightroom as a potential import source?

Thank you for any thoughts or suggestions that might help.

Make sure the reader is compatible with CF Express cards, XQD readers are not necessarily compatible with CFE cards. There are not a lot of readers that are compatible with both XQD and CFE cards. Is the reader one you used with XQD cards?
