Japan wasn't a wildlife trip, yet you always know you will always find something interesting to shoot. The Japanese are precise in many ways. I was amazed how they would plate coffee and food at times. The Egret was the same, aligned with the mountain top, reminding me of their precision. The Raven on the other hand reminded me of raising teenagers long ago. Everything may be fine, but probably not. Finally the Black Eared Kites were my biggest joy, watching them soar in large groups. These two shots were with the Plena when we first saw them in Osaka so shallow DOF at 2.5.
