Anyone have experience with a Freewell magnetic CPL? Or would I be better off with Kase? I just need a simple, easy CPL for the lakes and waters.

I wouldn't worry too much, other than Zeiss, Schneider, Marumi, Lee, most of these filters are made in China by the same factory, with different labels; it comes down to the after-sales support.

I think Breakthrough uses Schott glass made in Germany. Not sure where they are assembled
