Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City used to be on the edge of town, but the city has grown and it is now surrounded by the city. The lake attracts lots of birds as well as other wildlife, but the water level is quite low right now which has revealed some views that are usually hidden underwater.

Lovely scene! I enjoyed visiting your State Capitol very much. Gorgeous! I do hope the recent bad weather has not caused damage to the area.

Glad you enjoyed it - Oklahoma is more than many expect. We've had very little bad weather yet this spring - most of the bad storms have been east of us - but much of our stormy season is still ahead. Hopefully... :)
