Hi Steve, please count me in for your live stream. I'm assuming 3:00PM means Eastern Standard Time (EST), but if I'm mistaken, kindly let me know.
Yup, 3:00PM eastern (sorry about that). It's cool that Charles says his shows 2:00PM - YT has it figured out and I didn't know they adjusted it for time zones. Still new to thisHi Steve, please count me in for your live stream. I'm assuming 3:00PM means Eastern Standard Time (EST), but if I'm mistaken, kindly let me know.
Spirits in your coffee is a thing in a few months... we'll just have a gunfire breakfast a little earlierBeer breakfast?

Yeah there was! SO much gear talk!just wrapped up, good work Steve keeping up.... they just kept coming.... gear....gear....gear...gear
So, what I really wanted to know was that just coffee in that cup... I bet it could have been filled with something different after thatYeah there was! SO much gear talk!
LOL, tea actually. Honestly, those sessions aren't much different from the first day of any of my workshops, I'm used to it. I only wish people were more worried about technique than gear, but I get it. Technique doesn't cost $$ (although, it sure makes more of a difference than gear). So, what I really wanted to know was that just coffee in that cup... I haven't watched it yet. We were out photographing River Otters and Sandhill Cranes at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge in Indiana. I love gear as much as the next person but I do think gear only takes one so far. Pretty much any of the intermediated to pro level cameras over the last 8-10 years is capable of producing excellent images. Technique, how to get the most out of the equipment on hand, how to handle tricky exposures, commiserating over such things as temperature differential diffraction, backlighting, other tricky exposures, etc.LOL, tea actually. About the only way I could do one that was technique only would be if we called it a technique only Q&A - and we'd probably still have a lot of gear questions Just the nature of the best I think.I haven't watched it yet. Hopefully the next one will be more technique than gear.
Looking forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee and watching the video.
Yep, you're probably right not to mention producing a "technique" presentation would be a lot of work on your part and I think most of us wouldn't want to be unreasonable in asking you to do something that is a lot of work. I have enjoyed the live chats so far and appreciate you taking the time to do it.About the only way I could do one that was technique only would be if we called it a technique only Q&A - and we'd probably still have a lot of gear questions Just the nature of the best I think.
