Which lens do you prefer, the 60 or 100? I presume the 60 gives better depth.
Thanks again. Image quality is number 1 for me. Just checking prices and it looks like 60mm is much more affordable.I prefer the 60mm in terms of image quality, but due to the relatively short working distance, it's limited to subjects that are less likely to run, jump, or fly away when I get close. The only reason I own the 100mm is that sometimes I need a greater working distance with more skittish subjects. I haven't run any tests to see if one lens has more DOF than another at the same aperture. Even if one does, I'd still be selecting the lens based on the subject/working distance as outlined above.
