Long-eared owl (flyby + perched)

This time of year (in Western Europe), this somewhat secretive owl species tends to group up in roosts; making them a bit easier to find (lack of leaves/vegetation doesn't hurt either). Combine that with some nice light (which is blind luck this time of year) and it makes for some nice photo opportunities.
