Long exposure beach tryout at sunrise

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Following on from my last post, here are some I took at sunrise using the 14-24. The area is a marine reserve so the seaweed cannot be removed unless the winds and tide take it.

Hi jhalletbc, this was the first real outing for the 14-24 which I picked up at a very decent price second hand. It filled a gap in my lens coverage and was a lens that I wanted not only for landscape but to foray into astro. It is proving to be versatile as the images below shows. As people switch to mirrorless, there will plenty of lenses more up for grabs at reasonable prices.

Wow, the last one posted is really good. All great though.

Cheers Bill

Juggling with the filters and the filter kit knee deep in water and seaweed was an interesting learning experience to say the least, particulalry on the first outing of the Lee system. Will look for better landscape to get a composition next time.
