I have a 32 and absolutely love it! Mine was about a grand from B+H. I had an old 30 inch Apple display and my wife has a 27inch iMac. This would be adequate but I really like the bigger monitor. I don’t think anything bigger is necessary.

Which brand and model? I'm looking at the BenQ SW series, but am questioning whether or not they are worth the extra money over the PD or MA series.

Can't answer the comparison question but I am very happy with the 321C. Here is what AI told me.
  • SW Series:
Considered the top-tier for color accuracy, offering excellent Adobe RGB coverage, ideal for professional photographers who need to match monitor colors to printed outputs.

  • PD Series:
Designed for graphic designers and creative professionals, providing good coverage of DCI-P3 color space, suitable for both Mac and PC workflows.

  • Zowie XL Series:
Primarily focused on competitive gaming, featuring fast response times, high refresh rates, and features specifically designed to enhance gameplay

I believe it is a BenQ. Not the one with the hood that sells for way more. It’s a good monitor with good sharpness and clarity. It’s technically a 31.5 inch I believe. It was around 1k. Supposed HDR but in reality this is a bit of hype but I am not doing HDR at this time.

Do you use it to set up printing of your photos?

(Sorry,... I know I have a lot of questions for you.)

I don’t print at home. Too expensive and I don’t do this for a living. I do find that I have to watch the overall brightness when exporting to other devices like my iPad or to others. I check them out first before I send them on. I found it helped to lower the overall brightness a bit. Otherwise some photos turned out a bit dark. I never had this issue with my old Apple cinema monitor. Other it works well. I’m sure the Apple Pro Display would be better but it costs 5 times as much. It’s a good unit imop.
