My first "critique" posting on this forum, so be gentle :D

The tide was out when I went back to the nest site which allowed you to get much closer to the nest. Obviously, that doesn't mean you should get closer and I was very aware not to disturb them. As it happens, I found a good spot to set down and they went about their daily business, including some mating. The male even flew down and started washing himself in the water about 10m from where I sat.
