A busy little fellow, just like the warblers. Does not sit still for a moment.

Thanks, Lisa. I daresay this image was made possible by the faster autofocus speed of the 500mm PF. Until recently I used the 200-500mm F/5.6 and that lens did not grab focus as fast as the 500mm PF does.Congrats! Well, you certainly got it to stay still enough for a great shot.
Thanks, Ralph.Excellent Rassie
Thanks, Turberticus. This was last week down in Florida. I returned home on Wednesday, passing by Pittsburgh along the way.Very nice! Where and when was this taken? These guys don't move up north until at least April.
Oh...I so get it! I, too, switched out my 200-500mm f/5.6 for the 500mm PF! SWEET!!!!Thanks, Lisa. I daresay this image was made possible by the faster autofocus speed of the 500mm PF. Until recently I used the 200-500mm F/5.6 and that lens did not grab focus as fast as the 500mm PF does.
You're welcome. One of the few species that I don't have a great photo of. Last spring I saw one bouncing around at eye level on lots of open perches with some early spring foliage, but of course I didn't have my camera with me... maybe this year I'll get my shot! And yes, it looks like Pittsburgh is on the way! I-79?Thanks, Turberticus. This was last week down in Florida. I returned home on Wednesday, passing by Pittsburgh along the way.
