Just about a month ago I posted my first Great Horned Owl that I photographed. Well, yesterday I got to spend about an hour in the presence of a pair of Barred Owls. They were in dense young forest. I had a lot of fun TRYING to make images of them, but really struggled to find clearings in all the tiny twigs and branches as they flew back and forth all around me. Crows were really giving them a hard time, so they were very active. Although I have seen both these owl species, I am new to the wildlife photography game. So, this was pretty exciting. Borderline on intense with trying to get everything in the triangle working together. Both are pretty deep crops.
