Go to their webpage and download the original application as opposed to upgrading from within your existing version. If that still doesn’t work, send me a message.

For anyone else having problems, just heard back from someone at Topaz that "there has been an uptick" in similar problems with people using Macs. And deleting the plists files
worked for me:
