Need help Identifying this bird

I found this little guy at one of our local ponds here in the phoenix area. I've tried to identify but nothing comes close, does anyone know what kind of bird this is?

Off the cuff I'd guess a Least Sandpiper with those yellow legs. I'd at least use that as a starting point for a similar species comparison using the Cornell website: https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Least_Sandpiper/id

I think it is a Spotted Sandpiper in non-breeding plumage.
