Definitely. Our houses all open up, regardless of bird type.

I would get your advice from local birding groups as our Australian birds may require different housing to OS birds. Egress holes, size of box, positioning, height from ground, etc may differ to OS birds.

That is why I posted (post #3) purely Australian (AFAIK) links about nest boxes designs etc.

Here in the UK we equally have such local advice sites .

Bird boxes for parrots tend to be big Lance. I will check out boxes for swifts swallows etc and put them away from the granny flat. Bit like fishing in dark water, never know what you might catch.
