Indeed, in YouTube are many helpful and less helpful videos. But frankly speaking I prefer written manualsAs others have stated not only are Steve’s book on the Z9 invaluable for wildlife set up, so are his updated focus tracking YouTube videos.

Specially for AF I find, that Steve's book is the most helpful tool for me.
I read in forums, that members return to the D850 because the Z9 is to complicated for them. I also was stunned of the tons of configurations.
That's always the case when you come from a loved and learned environment. But the learning curve is becoming flatter and flatter.
I am still enthusiastic about the Z9. I think it is Important to choose from the many options that the Z9 offers this ones which are important to you.
herwise you will overload the buttons and dials so that you can no longer remember what they are doing. And you will fail in the field.
Now I configured my banks....Standard, Action, Landscape and Video. And find the right settings with trial and error.
So many sharp pictures of our dog, when she is running and playing...... I never got so many with my D850.
It certainly sounds strange but I have to admit that after my wife and our lovely dog Frieda, I am in love with the Z9
