Nikon 300mm PF or Z 100-400mm

I am 99.9% certain the image was taken at the "jumping post" at Snaizeholme in North Yorkshir - a pay for location.

The squirrels cannot easily reach the front post and are encourage to jump for nuts from the back post. An assistants hand can help with pre-focus.

Then "all you need" (my shot is not as good) is some luck !, skill and good light at the time of booking.

I am planning a return visit timed for autumn colour.
Yep you're correct, it was back in March. I had good light and got lots of decent shots. It helps with 20 fps on the Z8!
One jumped the reflection pool when I was there.
 
I'll stick with my 300pf as it's great on my Z8 and works really well with the TC1.4 III.

Nice capture and especially the back ground, I don't have the 300 PF F4, but i love and tolerate the size and weight for special applications 300 F2.8 VR II, i use it at F2.8, its stunning.
