This is a great deal (though thankfully I got an even better deal by buying a copy from someone on this site). I had the Z 180-600 and sold it for this one. In case anyone else is trying to decide between the two, here are the pros and cons (as I see them).
Price: zoom is the clear winner, less than half the price of the fixed lens.
Weight: fixed lens is much lighter and is the main reason I switched.
Sharpness: fixed lens is reportedly better, but in real life use I see little difference.
Teleconverter: fixed lens will be better with 1.4x attached (secondary reason I switched).
