Nikon USA Refurbished Camera Pricing Just Before Christmas

Refurbished gear at Nikon USA this morning: Z9 - $4199.95, Z8 - $2708.95, Zf - $1457.95.

For those looking to acquire these cameras, I don't recall prices this low.

What amazing is the refurbished prices are off the current SALE prices ... the refurbished Z 24-70mm f/2.8 is being offered for $1,250 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 is $1,700.

AAAAHHH! On their last refurbished sale (about three weeks ago), I got a Z 24-70 f2.8 for $1450 which is the lowest I have ever seen it and I thought was an insanely good deal. Now on the new sale they have it for $1250. I still got a good deal, but this deal is unbelievable.

I just emailed Nikon USA using their online form to ask if I can get a refund or store credit for the extra $200. I believe someone else on this forum did it recently when a product went on sale after they bought it. We will see what happens.

fwiw, i was able to successfully do this at my local brick and mortar for something i purchased. i don't even think i asked, i think it came up and they offered.

You would have to have purchased it in the last two weeks to get refund.

They actually have Z8 with 24-120 for $3300. Best deal I've seen for this combo.

Yeah, I got tempted and tried to put the Z8 (body only) in the cart and it's sold out. I did get the 24-70 f/2.8. My wife absolutely loves it when I get a bad case of GAS.

I have a problem with companies referring to the cameras and lenses as being "refurbished" which is dishonest. They are previously owned and may have had repair work done but there is no refurbishment done.

In some states a returned item cannot be resold as "new" and so the manufacturers have needed a way to be able to sell these items a second time to new customers.

They did get back to me the same day and stated they have issued a $200 refund to my credit card. Great service!
