No focus distance in Lightroom for Z8 w/FTZ II

I got a Nikon Z8 with FTZ II adapter for Christmas. When using Lightroom Classic to process my photos, the focus distance is blank. Is this because I'm using the FTZ adapter?

From this post on the Adobe forums, there appears to be some inconsistency with subject distance display in LR, but generally speaking, LR does not show it. It is not an issue w/the FTZ for sure; I just looked at a bunch of older pictures I took with a D850 and also do not see subject distance.
