First one, from Bosque del Apache, 2-4 from a puffin shoot in Canada, 5 & 6 from Lake Tahoe, and 7 is from Yellowstone NP. It was difficult to find even seven shots for this post, which makes me realize I need to shoot more landscapes, not just animals.

Barely any vacations this year on my end, so it has mostly been local landscape around the province as I travelled for (field)work.

ƛ̓éxətəm (tla-hut-um) Regional Park, British Columbia. I guess you could call this an environmental portrait shot? I know I could have got longer rain streaks had I kept my shutter speed lower, but the warblers were pretty jumpy.

View right outside my tent on a private lot of land northeast of Dinosaur Provincial Park, Alberta. There was no signal at the field site so I got the small aurora just from sheer dumb luck.
