That's really unfortunate. I wonder if they're making an improved one or they just didn't sell enough of them.

Update - in looking at their site, it looks like they have a new gimbal with a new clamp:

However, I don't see where you can buy the clamp separately and I don't know if it fits the WH-200.

I had sent an email inquiring about buying just the clamp and I was told that at the moment they were having difficulty sourcing parts for it to regularly offered for sale. Not sure if that means it might be sold again in the future or if it was their way of avoiding giving a clear yes or no answer.

I discovered the same problem; no longer available.
Steve, it’s time for a new video to solve this problem. Or, at least a new post to help us newbies.
Thanks
I came to the forums today specifically to ask this same question--the clamp is no longer produced, and used ones are impossible to come by!

Has anyone found a suitable alternative that they'd recommend?

Just an FYI for folks looking at replacing the wimberley gimbal clamp with a RRS pg-cc cradle clamp, if you reach out to their customer service, they can create a quote for you despite the product not being listed on their website. It took some time but eventually they had enough stock for me to get one this past month. Visually it is slightly different than the one Steve has shared in the past, but functions just like you would expect on the wimberley gimbal head and has the quality you would also expect from RRS.

This is good to know! I reached out to them roughly a year ago to see whether they had any plans to put it back into production, and they said that the get a lot of inquiries about it so they were considering it. But they didn't offer to sell me one. I eventually found a used one that set me back about $160.

Following the helpful comments here I was able to order one by emailing them. They charged $215 with shipping. RRS was very efficient processing my order and I now have it. Works perfectly. I had reason to call them about something unrelated and suggest they added it to their website. They said they would so let's see...
