Quick selection of DX mode on a D850

Good afternoon all, I wonder if you can help me, I want a quick selection method of DX mode on my D850's and the only button I see that will give me that image area selection is the Video button but when I try to deselect and reselect the DX mode the FX will not deselect. I may may be mis-understanding the process here but if someone can clear this up for me I would be very appreciative, thank you in advance.
