Thank you Rassie.Awesome image, Kumar!
Thank youVery very nice!
Got close to it near a lodge I was staying in.In Kerala, I never got anywhere near as close. You are lucky.
Thank youBeautiful.
Thank you. The place is Eldhose Birding Lodge in Thattekad, Kerala. Forests nearby where you can also photograph Trogons, Frogmouth , Bay owls etc. The lodge itself is a very basic one though better lodging is available nearby.Wonderful photo - low angle, clear background, superb lighting, perfect focus - very hard to see with that species! Much more successful than my attempts on this bird in a forested environment. Where was the lodge - I assume South India? Is there a website address for it? Thanks.
Thank youBeautiful shot; amazing looking bird. Nice work.
Thank youSuperb image, love it!!
Thank you very muchBeautiful photo... love the composition and the tight focus on the bird. I also love the name... clearly, I am unfamiliar with drongos.

We stayed at Jungle Bird Homestay in Thattekad. I would highly recommend it. Wish I'd seen a drongo up that close. They were alway higher up and further away.Thank you.
