Remote or Nikon Snapbridge?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

From my point of view, it depends on how often you want to use it and if you think of bringing it along. For the few times I had to use it, I thought Snapbridge worked fine, but you do need to know how it works.

I do have a remote, but really never used it.

Thanks all. I did a few dry runs with Snapbridge and my phone and it appears to be connecting and working consistently. So rather purchase more accessories, I'll give this setup a try.

Sounds like a plan. If you find it wanting you can always look at remotes. As with most thing, individual milage will vary.
