Job nicely done!
Excellent shots. A good day out!
Gotta love the composition of the Elk shot! Nice!
Thank you all. Shots taken above 11,000' in tundra above tree line. Drops precipitously 500' to 1000', providing the backdrop. The background in the elk photo turns what would be an ordinary photograph into something
Nice. A real shame I had to move so far away from the high country!Thank you all. Shots taken above 11,000' in tundra above tree line. Drops precipitously 500' to 1000', providing the backdrop.

That elk image is to die for. Very nice, Sir!
Thank you Steve, Koos, & Jake. I first visited "The High Country" in the 1970's long before my first DSLR as well. Almost 50 years later, finally moved to Fort Collins, CO. Really enjoying all RMNP has to offer in all four seasons.Lovely shots. I was there once in 2009 during the rut (completely by chance). That was 14 months before I picked up a DSLR. I truly need to get back there.
