First photo is of the native flowering Rose Mallow with blooming New Jersey Tea in background. Second photo is of the berries on the Red Baneberry. We plant mostly native plants in our yard and enjoy the emerging displays from early spring though fall

Thanks Drip Dry. We visit a local university arboretum many times in early and late spring to catch the larger expanses of blooms. Trilliums carpeting the forest floor in early morning light creates a fairy land atmosphere.
