We (me and wife) were out doing some shopping for Wisconsin staples today (milk, cheese, cheese curds, Sprecher Cherry-Cranberry soda) and, of course, I had my camera along just in case. On the ride home we took the route through downtown Port Washington where the temp was about 5 deg F/-15 deg C, the wids were up, Lake Michigan was very rough and there were thousands of geese and mergansers in the harbor. The bird photos may follow on the wildlife forum if I like any of them or I will go back to shoot more bird pics.
With the high winds I was able to capture this sequence of a wave rolling over the wall. The shots a cropped for conistency because I was shooting handheld and the wind and cold did not allow steady shots. Nikon D850, Nikkor 500mm f/5.6P PF, 1/160 se, f/11, ISO 180. Processed in LrC.
