Seeking ideas for fanny pack or small daypack for walk around setup

The Caden K1 got great write ups. I bought it, but I’ve never used it After a couple of years, it’s quite awkward.
On day trips for the past5 or 6 years the Lowepro Apex 120 was great for when on a bus or just walking with a small lens, but I tried a huge number of shoulder and backpacks, and I still use the Lowepro fastback 250…I’ve had all three models.
now I just bought a case for travel….my poor back starting to suffer, but I haven’t used it to travel….that’s next month …the Pelican Air 1535 with Trekpak …it’s superb,

I use the Think Tank Photocross 13 and also the Photocross 15 pack which holds more gear... both very useful.... the only "con" with the 13 is that there is not generous padding on the sling strap-so it is not as comfortable as the pack
 
So I ended up with the photocross 10, so far what I expected plus several clever design features for carrying more stuff and adjusting the load. The ability to pull it around to the front to get your gear without removing the pack is a big plus compared to having to take a backpack off.
