Shores of Lake Michigan

I spent a couple days exploring the shores north of Traverse City last week. The weather was mostly atrocious but the light did decide to cooperate just a little once or twice. But overall it was a big flop photography wise.

I have to say, I love the new Tamron 28-75 f:2.8 G2, super light, very well built, super sharp, decently corrected. For the price it is a very nice lens.

Number 3 and 4 are spectacular! They remind me of my "growing up" years in Michigan. We vacationed at Torch Lake sometimes.

This one felt really cold - there was a miserable freezing drizzle coming down that took all life out of the scene.

Thank you, that is very kind and I am glad it touched a chord - that's what I try and do (not always with success )
