Smoky Mountains in the Fall

It varies, more often than not I would expect to see the peak near the end of October. I many times schedule first week in November. Even if I miss the peak I didn’t miss great colors altogether by being too early. I am only 5 or 6 hours away and try to keep up with the changes in case it is a week or so earlier. You’re right, I guess we’ve all overdone, or opposite, exposure time, it’s pretty subtle, but can change the feel entirely . I am glad you like it.
