SmugMug versus Zenfolio display options

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I've used Zenfolio in the past and liked it, but I can no longer afford it. Adobe Portfolio is not fancy, but it does the job and is free to Adobe users. It is possible to add pages to pages, which gives you sometime a bit like folders for organization, but it is not intended to be a professional substitute. At some point I'm going look into more options, but for now my friends/family are happy with my very bare bones site. I don't think it does high resolution photos, but I really don't want to upload high res to my public site. I've just synced it with my LR classic (smart photos) collections.

A couple of items not discussed:
1. Quality and speed of response from tech support,
2. Integration with the LrC publish module.

Smugmug support is excellent and, there is a capable publish module for LrC.

I use Flickr Pro, they do full res photos and the display results are excellent. There is no restriction as far as number is concerned.

Your site is excellent, but that is mainly due to your fantastic photos. :D

Excellent web site. I like your photo of the close encounter with the Cheetah, and your husband's video. Amazing!
