Really nicely done Rich!Love the wing hiding the body and most of the face. Comments, suggestions are always welcomed. I have learned a lot from helpful members of this forum

Appreciate the comment, WoodyGreat photo -- it's a unique position to see its eyes peeking over the wing.
Yes, and more I shoot, the more times it happensGreat shot. Every once in awhile we are able to capture nature at its best. You did.

Leave on Saturday. May decide being warming is more important than getting similar shots. Already have a lot of good stuff (this is my second trip)I hope you will see more harfangs before the polar cold expected for tomorrow and saturday!

Love the composition and wing position,

Thanks. I think those were trees and bushes. In the final version I can remove them as well as the silo on the top right though that loses some of the story - that this was in a farmer's fieldSpectacular shot. As has been mentioned, the head angle, eyes over the wing, exploding snow. All terrific IMO. Too bad about the dark OOF line above the bird. A wall or fence? Certainly a minor distraction to me.
Thanks SirVery nice!
