Somewhat key mockingbird

Critiques appreciated!! Many of you will complain about the sky background-nothing I could do about it. Bird was too high up to get a tree background behind it. So, I tried to make it into a sorta high key shot. Handheld downsized for posting

Have you tried bringing this into B&W? Bump up the contrast on the bird and play around with things to see how it would look?

I’m a birder that takes pictures to document my sightings. I don’t want to make any image unnatural. Thanks though!

It's OK as an ID shot. But the lack of context and the expanse of white kills it for me.

Well it’s certainly high key. I’d have liked to see more of where it’s perched really.
