I love the tones in the image. The bird is cute too - but would have been better if the composition was different. Perhaps you wanted to show the bird in this position - which could have been good - but sometimes what one see doesnt translate into a good pose - and I think this is the case here. I hope you have more photos in this series where the bird is differently situated and the eye nicely visable.
