….. New one on me.. We watched a pair great crested flycatchers bring material and food to a limb cavity in an old cedar. We were hopeful to see some fledglings at some point appear in the opening. To our surprise a grey squirrel had invaded the nest and likely destroyed the eggs or ate the hatchlings…. No way of knowing. Certainly disappointing…..
