So I'm on my deck last night grilling some chicken when I notice various songbirds making a commotion. I then spot a Barred owl in a tree at the edge of my yard, a good distance away. I thought I'd give him my best Barred owl call (which I didn't think was very good), but to my surprise, he/she flies over and lands on my neighbors DirectTV dish. I snuck inside to grab the big lens and take a few photos before the owl lands in a tree just 30 yards away! Maybe he wanted some chicken? lol.
