I've always struggled to get a good photo of a Swamp Harrier. My experience has been that they are very wary of people and most of my closer shots have been of a rapidly departing rear end after I have disturbed them in rushes on the ground. I have never seen one perched before yesterday when I had great views of a pair hunting at a local wetland - Andy
