Tethering with Z8

Yes - same as Z9
Thanks much for your fast fast response :) I tether now with the D850 and Lightroom. It looks like Lightroom only has support for the Z9 on the Mac platform. https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-c...ate&as_source=partnerize&as_campaign=pzphorum I'm on Windows. Dang! So I'm guessing I'd have to use NX Studio, which appears to be free. Is that right? Is it difficult to use until Lightroom supports tethering for Z8 in Windows? Perhaps I'll have to keep the D850 for my tethering work for awhile. (I was going to sell the D850 to help pay for Z8).

It took Adobe over a year to get the Z9 to tether, but there was a workaround which you can use day-one and on a PC. Use Nikon Tether to get the files from camera to a designated folder, then open Auto Import under the File menu to bring them in. It's a 2-second delay, so not ideal but it works.
