Thinking of redoing my Mac setup... what software to choose?

Hi - just a note in defense of FCP. I have used it for years and find it works well. The new color grading introduced a few months ago and the AI slow-mo and a few other inhancements have improved it a lot. I HAVE NOT used any other NLE system so cannot compare. However, another producer I work with told me to change to Divinci a year ago and said it would only take a couple of years to become proficient. And, of course, beware of those YTers who know not of what they speak.
I’m using the 90 day FCP free trial now. So far so good 👍🏻

One of the nice features of Davinci Resolve Studio is that they provide free upgrades. I think I purchased version 15 and I am now on version 19. Davinci Resolve studio also includes Fusion Studio. They also run a deal from time to time where you can purchase the speed editor keyboard and get the studio software free.
