Excellent images! I have not seen a black form Tiger Swallowtail before, but there are mostly Canadian Tiger Swallowtails here.
There are quiet a few here and they’re really big, at least in comparison to what I’ve seen other places I’ve lived.
 
They’re really pretty but move more than any butterfly I’ve seen. Makes it a task trying to get a clear shot.
 
Steven, You did a very nice job with all of these images. I really like the last three, especially the bee images. The bees are my favorite. I like using the 500pf to shoot flowers. It works in the macro world. Great job!
