We've had a strange year here with insects. It seems like it's very erratic with seeing just about anything. We've had a fairly dry and very hot summer so I think that's most definitely a contributing factor.

Hot and dry here last, but much better this summer. Butterfly numbers low, though. Probably haven't recovered from last summer.
