Upgrade Z9 to 5.00 Firmware Problem

The firmware file does not need to be expanded. Just copy the .bin file to a CFExpress card on your computer, place the card in camera and update the firmware. You can also update the firmware using SnapBridge.

Yes. Read the instructions on the nikon page and follow them exactly. It's already a bin, as you can see in your screenshot.
On a previous update I had a problem with Windows 11. IThe OS was preventing me from moving the file anywhere, I think I finally got around it by using a different computer.
