Video editing course/video

I would like to see Steve come out with an in depth video course. I shoot some video occasionally and usually do minor edits in iMovie or Adobe premiere rush but would like to start getting more in depth. It seems sort of crazy to have a camera like the Z9 and not utilize the video capabilities. I purchased a Rode microphone several months ago and have been trying it out with pretty good success. I normally just shoot in full auto while doing video and AFF for the focus mode. If Steve does produce such a video, I would certainly be the first to purchase it.

I’d be interested in it too. I agree the Z9 is an incredibly capable video camera and I want to put it to use. I downloaded DaVinci Resolve but haven’t looked at it yet.

I as well would be interested. Lately I have been shooting some video of Bald Eagles with my Z9 / 500 PF.

Jan Wegener just published a beginner editing course with DaVinci Resolve on YouTube. It’s a great starter tutorial.

My biggest thing is knowing what mode is best for different circumstances but full auto seems to work well for most things I’ve tried it on.
