I travelled to Svalbard in mid-May for a week expedtion cruising. This is the view that I had from Longyearbyen on the evening I arrived:

As soon as I saw your post, I knew where Svalbard is. Before 2022-04-20 22:39:00 UTC I had no idea where Svalbard was, as I was able to communicate with a Dx (voice) expedition, ( ham radio call sign, JW0X) from Svalbard. By the way, GREAT Photograph.

Stunning shot. Beautiful. Meaning to check if there are land based photo tours there (especially after seeing Morton Hilmer camping and shooting there).

Thanks. There are land based tours and a number of local guides who can arrange day trips from Longyearbyen.
