Warm to cold transition - effect on camera gear?

Two possibilities from B&H. I own the Freehands (2nd link below) & really like them. They are not very thick, but they worked well for me in Antarctica - both trips. I have friends who own the ones in the first link, and they like those.

Thanks. I actually bought the Freehands off Amazon for this trip but I found they didn’t provide much warmth at all. Even tried putting liners inside them but my fingers still went numb pretty quickly. I’ll be returning those, but maybe I’ll try the others.

You're welcome. Fortunately I'm bothered more by heat than by cold.
FWIW, I tried the fingerless glove with mitten type glove and returned them. The mitten part kept my fingertips warm EXCEPT the issue was that all five fingertips on my shooting hand were exposed when I had the mitten off. Instead of having only my thumb and index finger exposed to the cold, all five were. There are photographers' gloves that allow you to expose only the fingers you are using. Check the B&H site.
