Nice. The only place I've seen one is at a wildlife refuge not too far from Vancouver BC.Yes, he is a Mandarin duck. A bit rare sighting for us living in the north America.
Very nice Dave.Noticed some Eared Grebe on a small pond but keeping their distance so I came back early the next morning and set up a blind. Took a while but one finally swam by.

All great Robin, but I'm with your Grandson. That little yellow duckling really jumps out. Fantastic images!I went to a local duck hangout with my Grandson. He loved seeing all the baby ducks in particular the little yellow duckling.
